Justice Dept to Require Web Accessibility

The Justice Department issued an ANPRM on Friday that starts the process of adding web accessibility requirements to Title II and Title III of the ADA. When this happens, it will mean that just about every business, as well as all state and local governments in the United States, will soon be required to meet web accessibility standards, just as they are now required to have a ramp to their front door. This is a clear signal: businesses could be subject to new DOJ lawsuits, monetary damages, etc. Check it out here!
